MIXER TRUCK DRIVER

Duties:

• Daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Clean and wash vehicle, including removal of concrete buildup on all exterior part of the mixer

• Attend safety meetings as scheduled by management

• Demonstrate ability to work according to customer demands

• Cooperate with CalPortland employees and customers

• Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, state and federal regulations

• Fill out required paperwork completely and accurately

Qualifications:

• The responsibility of this position is to assure the safe and timely delivery of concrete to the customer. This includes encouraging the customer to utilize our value-added ingredients such as fiber, retardant, color or other additives. The timely return to the assigned batch plant for future loads is critical. Proper maintenance and care of the ready-mix concrete truck, completion of all paperwork, assisting with plant work, and maintaining good public relations with customers is needed.  

• Possesses valid CDL (Class A or B) required- Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and maintain an active DOT medical qualification
